I. Background
Pak Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS) is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire a love for learning and develop cognitive and critical thinking abilities in Pakistani children.
PAMS provides technical support to federal and provincial education departments, donor agencies, and partner organizations to implement scalable STEAM solutions in government schools across Pakistan. The organization also conducts research on education policy.
II. Why We Are Hiring
PAMS is currently providing technical assistance to federal and provincial education departments on multiple projects.
The selected candidate will be working with the STEAM Policy Unit, Punjab (Lahore) and will also coordinate with the Learning team based in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.
III. Scope of Work
The incumbent will report to the Lead, STEAM Policy Unit (Punjab) and Head of Learning, working closely with teams responsible for program delivery, learning, communication, and outreach.
Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing school STEAM activity reports and providing feedback

Managing school registrations and maintaining accurate school records

Coordinating with partner organizations, schools, and government stakeholders for smooth program implementation

Organizing and conducting orientation sessions, refresher trainings, and providing help desk support for schools and teachers

Identifying and implementing ways to recognize teachers and schools actively engaged in the program

Designing and improving math, science, and art learning activities; developing text and video classroom guides

Introducing and piloting new ideas to enhance teaching quality and student learning outcomes

Conducting school visits and scheduling regular follow-ups to monitor program progress

Analyzing challenges faced by low-performing schools and developing strategies to improve their engagement and performance

Compiling and organizing data for departmental updates and development partners’ reporting
IV. Qualifications Required

Minimum of a four-year undergraduate degree
-
At least one year of relevant work experience

Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Urdu
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization and visualization)

Motivated, proactive, and committed personality
-
Ability to work with diverse people and organizations
-
Willingness to conduct field visits across Punjab
V. Deployment

Location: Lahore

Contract Duration: Till March 2026, subject to renewal
